Health Screening Entry System
H.S.E.S.
Abstract
With the Covid-19 Pandemic, the security measures in clinics have increased dramatically as a preventative way to reduce the spread of the virus. Unfortunately, this means having to increase the workload of someone who is working the front desk to check a patient's temperature; this includes asking people the typical Covid-19 questions. This can be a lengthy process, taking away time from other things that need to be taken care of.

To eliminate this process, the Health Screening Entry System or the H.S.E.S, would unlock the front door of the medical facility to allow entry for the patient. This is only done if the following criteria is met: the person must have a temperature that is within a safe range, the person answers no to all the questions provided by OSHA and all persons entering are properly wearing a mask. This system would save time that would otherwise be spent by medical staff performing these tasks. This frees up medical staff to perform other duties. The H.S.E.S should bring convenience and security for any of the medical facilities utilizing this system.
